Invest in the future you’re working to create.
Just Futures makes it easy and affordable to help secure your organization’s assets and your workers’ retirement savings without setting your values aside or sacrificing your financial goals.
What We Do
Just Futures manages investments for organizations whose mission shapes how they give, hire and operate. We think it should also inform what their portfolios include.
Retirement plans: Values-screened 401(k) and 403(b) plans for mission-driven employers, easy to offer, simple to run and built to secure your employees’ financial future.
Asset management: Endowment and reserve fund management for foundations and nonprofits that integrates investment goals, liquidity needs, and values alignment into one plan.
Impact fund acceleration: Enabling the movement of integrated capital into funds building the regenerative economy.

Who We Are
Started by nonprofit and movement workers, we understand how to serve mission-driven organizations.
We are a people of color-owned and gender diverse public benefit corporation, accountable to the movements we serve. Social movement organizations elect seats on our board and investment committee, and our structure commits ownership to them, along with the majority of any profits we distribute.

Our investment approach
We are a fiduciary, which means we’re legally and ethically bound to put you and your employees’ interests first. Everything else about our approach follows from taking that duty seriously across a decades-long time horizon.
The companies worth owning for the long term tend to be the ones that treat workers well, plan for environmental risk and govern themselves responsibly. So we screen every investment twice, through a financial lens and a values lens, looking for the same underlying qualities: companies built to last.
For organizations investing endowments or reserves, alignment isn’t all or nothing. We meet you where you are and build from there, whether that’s screening out the worst offenders, tilting toward companies that reflect your mission or placing a portion of assets in community investment funds. Your investment policy sets the pace, our job is to give your committee real options at every step.
