George brings over 25 years experience in the financial services industry to Just Futures, holding leadership positions in global finance, investments, strategy, and operations at Fortune 500 companies.
He earned an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton and completed his MBA at New York University. He was a founding officer of AXA Funds Management Group–investment advisor of over $100b in client assets. He was a key member of a team that converted over $20b in managed funds into allocation models, collaborating with Ibbotson and AllianceBernstein on defining asset weightings and a rebalancing strategy. George served as Investor Relations Officer for AXA Group, a Global Fortune 25 company, advising and providing transparency to portfolio managers, buy side, and sell side analysts on financial condition, strategy, and outlook. As business line CFO of the U.S. wealth management and life insurance divisions, he had analytical oversight and responsibility for over $125 million in income and $300 million operating expenses.
At Silicon Valley based startup True Link Financial, George built a tech-enabled financial services platform catering to nonprofit organizations serving thousands within the special needs community, scaling from a dead start to $1 billion in AUM in 6 years. He was selected and served as a prestigious David Rockefeller Fellow, collaborating with public, private, and not-for-profit leaders to build a more effective dynamic between the business and civic sectors. George currently calls San Francisco home where he resides with his wife and two mystery mutts. In his spare time, he enjoys indulging his creative side through photography and videography.
