Kehinde “Kenni” Walker is a servant leader, mental health professional, and justice advocate with more than twenty years of experience advancing equity through housing, financial empowerment, counseling, and nonprofit leadership.
Her work centers on strengthening communities by addressing the intersection of mental health, economic stability, and access to opportunity. Kenni began her career supporting first time homebuyers and affordable housing initiatives in Columbus, Ohio, and later advanced financial empowerment efforts through a national financial literacy nonprofit serving Southeast Washington, DC. She went on to manage multimillion-dollar housing and community development investments in Fairfax County, partnering with nonprofits to support vulnerable populations.
She currently serves as Director of Operations and Finance at the National Black Food and Justice Alliance, where she supports implementation of systems infrastructure, develops SOP frameworks, and promotes and expands succession planning services for member organizations. As a Licensed Psychotherapist and Mediator, Kenni helps individuals transform trauma into strength and forward momentum.
Kenni has earned a Masters of Business Administration and a Masters of Science in Counseling. She is deeply committed to advocacy, justice, and empowering people through transparent, warm, and supportive leadership. Kenni spends her creative time as a liturgical dancer, writer, and a proud member of The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She has the privilege of serving as an earthly mother to three amazing humans.
