PaKou Her is Principal of Tseng Development Group, a consulting firm that provides strategic support, trainings, organizational development, and leadership coaching to build grassroots power, deepen racial justice, optimize impact, and create systems change.

She has spent almost three decades as a DEIB/JEDI and antiracism trainer/facilitator, and has 15 years of experience as a digital campaigner and strategist. PaKou has trained nearly 10,000 people to be change agents in grassroots, organizational, and nonprofit and public sectors.

Most recently, PaKou was Senior Director of Culture and Innovation as well as Director of Influencer Engagement at ParentsTogether. She was also Campaign Director and Executive Director at 18MillionRising.org where she leveraged civic technology to build AAPI power, and has held program and senior management positions at Crossroads Antiracism Organizing and Training, MoveOn.org, and UltraViolet. PaKou has worked with NPOs and partners such as the National Education Association, American Federation of Teachers, Asian Americans Advancing Justice, Working Families Party, MomsRising, and the White House to engage and mobilize diverse communities. As a social impact strategist, PaKou has built and managed nimble, mighty teams; grown startups into thriving institutions; engaged hundreds of influencers through progressive creator marketplace activations; expanded DEIB reach and impact across digital and analog campaign sectors; led initiatives to advance liberatory institutional policies, practices, and culture; and spearheaded breakthrough advocacy, narrative, and marketing initiatives.

PaKou lives in Kansas City, MO, with her spouse and two children.
